Stazzano is the site of an active Natural History Museum, in contact with the whole world, a destination for visitors and scholars interested in the flora and fauna of the place as well as the geological history of this area. Its rooms contain a large collection of minerals, fossils, birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians, insects, plants.

For lovers of archeology and history of Rome, just 5 minutes from Stazzano there are the excavations of Libarna, ancient Roman oppidum of the third century BC, many vestiges of which remain in good condition, including the amphitheater.

Also in more recent times were built monuments of artistic and architectural value: in the municipality of Stazzano there is, on a hill-top overlooking the valleys below, the Sanctuary of Montespineto, a place of pilgrimage from all the nearby centers. The panorama you can enjoy from the square of the sanctuary embraces virtually the entire Alpine range.

Again in terms of religious architecture, should be pointed out the Sanctuary of N.S. della Guardia in Tortona, a few miles from the Bed and Breakfast La Casetta, famous since ancient times for the golden statue of the Virgin visible from far away, and in more recent times for the tomb of St. Luigi Orione present in the side aisle, saint particularly revered in his homeland.

Painting lovers can not fail to visit the Pinacoteca in Tortona that exposes many Italian masterpieces of the nineteenth and twentieth century, as well as a must for anyone interested in Napoleonic history is the Museum of the battle in Marengo, for whose commemoration was coined the Marengo, gold coin of great historical and numismatic value.
